(WTVM) - The passage of Hurricane Michael has caused a near-complete rescheduling of athletic contests involving Muscogee County public schools.

The school district released a newly revised schedule on Thursday afternoon.

All middle school volleyball games have been moved to Friday at 5:15 pm ET, with middle school football games now set for Saturday.

The Region 1-4A volleyball tournament will resume at Columbus High on Monday, with Hardaway playing Shaw at 5 pm, followed at 6:30 pm by the region title matchup between Columbus and Northside.

The prep football schedule underwent a drastic makeover on Wednesday, changed again on Thursday after damage reports came in. Here is the (new) full schedule (all times ET):

Friday, Oct. 12

  • Columbus at Shaw, 7:30 pm (M)
  • Heard County at Jordan, 7:30 pm (K)
  • Kendrick at Jackson, 7:30 pm

Saturday, Oct. 13

  • Hardaway at Dougherty, 11 am
  • Westover at Carver, 11 am (M)
  • Spencer at Callaway, Noon
  • Northside at Americus-Sumter, Noon

In addition, there has been on AISA schedule change. Lakeside will now hit the road to play Edgewood, with kickoff still set for 7:00 pm CT.
