Monday is continuing to trend warmer with highs now looking to top out in the mid to upper 80′s across the area, as the forecasted cold front is going to take a little longer to get into central Georgia/Alabama. Overall, Tuesday will be a day of transition as the front creeps through, with some showers possible with the frontal passage, depending on the amount of sunshine, some area’s will get into the 80′s once again. Cooling off Wed-Thur with cooler airmass moving in, expect highs in the 70′s those two days, with lows in the 50′s. Slight bit of warming on Friday/Saturday ahead of the next cold front. Significant disagreement among models on rain chances for Saturday, but will put a chance in for now while we iron out the details. HOWEVER, strong cold front will pass through by Sunday, ushering in the coolest weather we’ve seen yet this Fall!
