Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey leaving Auburn, expected to coach at Kansas

AUBURN, AL (WAFF) - Auburn football team’s offensive coordinator, Chip Lindsey, is leaving the program and is expected to be the new offensive coordinator at Kansas, joining Les Miles.

Lindsey, a Madison native, coached under Gus Malzahn’s program for two years and as their offense has regressed.

We knew coaching changes were going to be made after Auburn finished the regular season 7-5 and 3-5 in SEC play.

This is the second season that Auburn has finished with a below 500 record under Malzahn. This will be the second time in three years that Auburn is on the search for a new offensive coordinator.
