AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - An Auburn man was arrested on burglary and theft charges Friday, Feb. 8.
Christopher Joe Whitlow, 45, is charged with third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree theft of property, and fourth-degree theft of property.
The arrest stems from a burglary report on September 4, 2018 in the 300 block of Industry Drive. According to police, tools from a business and employees were taken. Whitlow was identified as the suspect through DNA analysis from evidence collected at the scene.
Whitlow was transported to the Lee County Jail where he was held on a $6,500 bond.
The case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division and the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
