CVCC partners with ASU to help students move between colleges

(WTVM) - Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) is partnering with Alabama State University (ASU) to help students easily move from one institution to the next as they pursue higher education.

Students who sign up for this transition will have a chance to have their application fees waived.

CVCC’s president said they want students to get the value and quality programs at their school while also having the option to advance to a bachelor’s degree.

"This is just a great time for us to grow and to thrive in this community," commented Jacqueline Screws, president of CVCC.

"What we want to do here today with our partnership is ensure that student success is seamless from individuals that attend Chattahoochee Valley Community College and come to Alabama State University," said Dr. Quinton Ross, president of ASU.

This is the first partnership that CVCC has done with a university.
