COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Better Business Bureau held its Integrity Awards at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center on Thursday, April 11, 2019
The awards luncheon highlights the positive that businesses are doing.
Four students and four businesses received awards based on their performance.
“We all know the negative,” said Kelvin Collins, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Central Georgia. “This enhances the positive things that businesses are doing. Also, the positive things that students are doing. When you look at students today, in the classroom, they are faced with opportunities to cheat and lie. We want to recognize our students who are going to go the extra mile and who are going to portray character when nobody is looking.”
This year marks the fourth year the event has taken place.
