Ongoing dispute between brothers ends violently

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus Police have a man in custody in a Tuesday evening shooting at a bar on Warm Springs Road.

Investigators tell us that an argument between two brothers got out of control at the Hitch -N- Rail Tavern.

One person, 63-year-old Michael Teasley, shot his brother, 59-year-old Floyd Teasley in the stomach several times.

Teasley was taken to the Medical Center for an emergency surgery where five bullets were removed from his stomach. Teasley is now listed in unstable condition.

Michael was charged with aggravated assault. Police tells us the brothers had an ongoing misunderstanding.  He's scheduled to go before Recorder's Court Thursday morning at 8:00.
