CINCINNATI (AP) - Justin Upton extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a bases-loaded single during Atlanta's decisive third inning, and the Braves extended their offensive resurgence with an 8-0 victory over the fading Cincinnati Reds on Thursday night. Atlanta put it away early, sending 11 batters to the plate in the third for five runs.

ATLANTA (AP) - After taking time off to fight cancer, Michael Cooper is hoping to inspire his team to a championship in the WNBA playoffs. The former "Showtime" star is coach of the Atlanta Dream, who finished first in the Eastern Conference. They open the playoffs Friday against the Chicago Sky.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) - Brad Keselowski earned his first NASCAR Truck Series win on Thursday. Keselowski passed defending champion Kyle Busch with 75 laps to go and held off Busch's teammate Darrell Wallace Jr. in the UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
