COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The man accused of shooting 19-year old Keon Coleman in the head during a fight in downtown Columbus, walked in to court Tuesday to face his murder charge, but he did not stay long.

Deputies said Ron Blair Source  refused to remain quiet during the court proceedings so they escorted him out of the room.

"I'm not sure what that was about. I was listening to Detective Williams and I noticed in my peripheral vision that the deputy was taking him out. So, I'm not sure what was said or the reason for it," said Stacey Jackson, the attorney representing Ron Blair.

Even though Blair was not present for most of his hearing, new details in the murder of Keon Coleman were revealed. Detectives testified Coleman and Blair were downtown with a group of their own friends when a comment was made about one of the girls with Coleman's group. An argument began between the two groups of friends and that's when police say Blair fired a shot, hitting Coleman in the head.

However Blair's attorney says he believes a feud between the two men started long before the weekend fight, "We do believe, based on talking with my client and also talking with some other witnesses that were in the area, that we do believe there may have been some sort of relationship."

Along with murder, Blair was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. In July 1999 he was convicted of selling marijuana.

Blair was not given bond and he will remain in the Muscogee County Jail. His case was bound over to Superior Court.

Keon Coleman's body is at the state crime lab undergoing an autopsy at which time the bullet will be removed from his head and possibly matched to the gun that was in Blair's possession at the time of his arrest.
