Columbus police are asking for your help in solving the 1999 murder of a Fort Benning soldier on Victory Drive.
21-year-old Antrone Simpson was a passenger in a car with two other soldiers. They were driving near Spencer High School when a shot was fired from a passing car. Simpson was hit and died a few minutes later.
The suspects are identified as two black males. One of them is described as having a thin build and being around 6-feet tall. There was no description of the second suspect.
The car in which they were riding was a black or blue late 1980s or early 1990s automobile, possible a Toyota Tercel or Corolla.
