Columbus police are looking for clues in an unusual downtown robbery.
On May 26th, 2006 two adjacent businesses in the 22-hundred block of 2nd Avenue were robbed at the same time. In both cases, two men entered each of the businesses, a convience store and a liquor store, armed with a pistol and a shotgun. The men carrying the pistols fired shots, demanded money, and left. There were no injuries.
The suspects are only described as four black males wearing masks. The get away vehicle is described only as a dark colored pickup truck.
