Auburn University's Dean of Students isn't afraid to look a little silly, when it comes to promoting an important cause.
Doctor Johnny Green is riding his bike around campus this week.
And he hopes students will get on-board with his idea and leave their cars at home.
He calls it "going green" and it's gained Auburn some national attention in researching and developing alternative fuels.
Green says" I'm responsible for all these students and this is a part of their health and well being, even though it is environmental, this is something I need to do."
And the bike craze isn't going on just at the university.
The City of Auburn is adding bike racks on and off-campus.
And they've built several bike paths along some of the busy streets in the city.
