Dr. Brett Stark
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Brett Stark has been a practicing Podiatric Physician for over 10 years serving Lee County and the surrounding areas, with many patients coming from Columbus, Montgomery, Alexander City and as far south as Mobile, Al. 

Dr. Stark graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1998 in Chicago, IL.  He completed his post graduate training in 2001 through the VA system in Montgomery, Al and also through Surgical Centers and hospitals throughout Central, North and South Alabama.   His post graduate training included an infancies on primary and surgical foot care.  He is the owner and operator of Auburn Foot Care Center as well as a member of the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Starks has focused his practice primarily on conservative care options first and then offers appropriate surgical care either personally or by referral to other qualified Physicians.  Dr. Stark strives in good customer service skills and expects each of his employees to do the same as well as to provide each patient with the best possible experience.

Dr. Stark and his wife Carol have been married for 20 years and  are the proud parents of four children; Daniel, Jessica, Melissa and Christina Stark.  He enjoys outdoor sports as well as attending any Auburn University athletic event.  War Eagle! 

Rachelle Tapley
Office Manager
Rachelle Tapley joined our team in January 2011 as a medical assistant.  Since then she has held various positions within the office such as scheduling coordinator.  She currently serves as office manager, the scheduling coordinator and as Dr. Starks Administrative Assistant.

Rachelle and her husband,Lynn, have been married since 2007, and have a son and a daughter.  Rachelle has over 11 years experience in front office work ranging from customer service, billing, bookkeeping, data entry and scheduling coordination.   Rachelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fishing, hunting watching Gator Football and loves being a mom.  Rachelle is from Florida and has been an Alabama resident since 2002.

Misty Ponder
Medical Assistant
Misty Ponder joined our team in February 2011 as medical assistant.  She also serves with scheduling coordination and laser treatments.

Misty enjoys spending time with her son as well as with family and friends.  Misty attended Southern Union Community college where she studied Surgical Technology.  Her courses of study were Psychology, Anatomy & Physiology.  Misty is CPR and First Aid certified.  She gained some experience working with the elderly in the community for several months.    She also enjoys fishing, and Auburn Football.  She is a resident of Opelika, AL. 

April Strickland
Medical Assistant
April Strickland joined our team in August 2011 as medical assistant.  She also serves with scheduling coordination and laser treatments.

April resides in Beulah with her mother, son and daughter and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She has been in the medical field for over 13 years working in an orthopedic clinic, internal medicine, and cardiology as well as in the ER.  April attended Chattahoochee Valley Community College where she studied Nursing, her courses of study included Psychology, Sociology, Biology, Philosophy and EMT courses.  She enjoys hunting, shooting skeet, being outdoors, and Auburn Football.
