Hometown Spirit Delivery of the Game - WTVM.com-Columbus, GA News Weather & Sports

Hometown Spirit isn’t just about football. We want to know what your school is doing to better your community. Do you hold food drives? Do you do charity events? Is your school club active in the community?

Each week a school from our Hometown Spirit Games of the Week will be highlighted for their community support.
At the beginning of each Hometown Spirit Game the chosen team will be awarded the “Hometown Spirit Delivery of The Game” Commemorative Football with WTVM and Sponsor logo.

The week’s feature segment will air on Friday between 5 pm and 6:30 pm.

  • News Leader's 9 sports team wants to know what's your favorite play of the week. Results of your favorite play will be revealed each Monday on News Leader 9 at  6 p.m.

  • Each week WTVM Sport Team 9's Alexandra Vitale will mic the Head Coach from one of the competing teams and get an up-close and personal look at practice.
