Get ready for a very warm afternoon with daytime highs soaring into the upper 80s and maybe some lower 90s in our extreme southern counties in the viewing area. It should be breezy by the afternoon as well with west winds prevailing. Another area of low pressure will form out to our west today and approach us over the weekend. Some of the thunderstorm activity early Sunday could be severe.
