COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Tuesday night, city officials gave members of the community a chance to express their concerns about safety to local law enforcement.

Major Julius Graham of the Columbus Police Department says special details have already been set up in Columbus south high-crime areas.

"We have targeted certain areas that our officers have observed as well as what's been reported by the citizens. We have officers in those special designated areas to deal with drug activity, prostitution as well as burglaries and thefts," says Major Graham.
