Local men allegedly deal drugs with kids in car

RUSSELL COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -  According to Russell County Sheriff Tommy Boswell, two undercover Phenix City police officers pulled over to the side of the road to make a buy on Highway 80 in Ladonia Tuesday night.

The undercover cops were behind the dealers car that had three men inside.

One of the officers saw a gun and fired a shot at the car.

The other officer then saw that there were two small children in the car so no other shots were fired. No one was injured.

Neil Johnson, Robert Shouffler, and Jarez Ashford were arrested and are facing child endangerment charges and drug charges.
