Superintendent starts SPLOST blog

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WXTX) -- The Muscogee County Superintendent is trying many different approaches to sell a proposed one-percent school sales tax.   One of them involves an online blog.

Dr. Susan Andrews launched the "Ask the Superintendent" blog last week, to answer questions and hold a "conversation about schools."  To read the blog and offer your input, click on this link.

The third public forum on the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for schools occurred Wednesday night at Columbus High School.  Six more are planned across Muscogee County after spring break, during April and May.  The countywide vote on the SPLOST is planned in September.
