COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It's sandal and shorts weather.

That means it's time to start thinking about looking your best in less.

Summer may still be a couple months away, but it's never too early to spruce yourself up for the season.

Natalie Teasley with Sunday's Ultimate Day Spa says their increase in business is already showing.

"The body gets more exposed, your toes are seen, your hair is seen a little bit more when summertime comes," Teasley said.

"Once people come out of hibernation for the winter, they're ready to get their manicures, their pedicures, their hair lightened, they're ready to go for summer."

Places like day spas and nail salons are all seeing a spike in business as people prepare for their summer look.

It's time to get your nails done and your body waxed, according to Julie Struble with Sunday's

"This gorgeous weather is definitely helping our business for sure, but they are all getting their toes done," Struble said.

And don't forget about the tan.

There's a conventional bed and spraying has become the new rage.

In as little as 20 minutes, you can go from pasty and pale to beautifully bronzed.

Caroline Trotter sprays clients as they get ready for the summer.

"It's quick, it only takes 20 or 30 minutes and you don't have the risk of sun cancer," Trotter said.
