Authorities Make Drug Bust on Harris County Campground

HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -  A couple is behind bars after investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Department found drugs in their tent at a local campground.

Twenty-three-year-old Keith Bryan Carver and twenty-five-year-old Tiffany Nicole Sasser were arrested Monday at Blanton Creek Park for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A park ranger got an anonymous tip about the couple and when authorities raided their tent, they found 58 grams of ICE, the purest form of methamphetamine, nine ounces of marijuana, and $4,000 cash.

Carver was also arrested on outstanding warrants for Possession of Ecstasy ( MDMA ) with intent to distribute, Violation Georgia controlled substance act Sch. II ( methamphetamine ), Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Possession of marijuana ( misd. ).  Those charges came after police raided his home. Carver and Sasser are both convicted felons.
