COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Kia supplier is looking for employees. Johnson Control will be making door panels and seating systems for Kia once its plant is up and running.

The company held a job fair at the Columbus Department of Labor Saturday morning. They are looking to fill 150 positions and not surprisingly more than 300 people showed up to fill out applications.

The Columbus Department of Labor Employment Marketing Representative, Jim Hunsinger told News Leader Nine, "We have a lot of people that have been laid off from our local companies here and they want to go back to work. We have people that want jobs and any company that is willing to hire, these people are willing to take their chances."

Johnson Controls also held a job fair in LaGrange earlier this year where nearly 1,000 hopefuls turned out. They will continue to hire over the next few months.
