Meth lab found in car during traffic stop

CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -  Valley Police tell News Leader 9 they have made two arrests involving meth labs.

Monday morning around 4:00, police stopped a vehicle for not having a tag light and failing to signal at the intersection of 20th Avenue and East Sears Street.

They tell us the driver, Patrick Tittle, had warrants with the Chambers County Sheriff's office -- thus prompting a search of his vehicle.

Police found a small amount of meth, a working meth lab in the back seat and the components of a meth lab in the trunk.

Police tell us Tittle is from Lanett. He was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled subsistence and resisting arrest.

Tittle is currently behind bars at the Chambers County Jail.

A second arrest involving meth was made late Friday in Beulah, AL. Officials tells us Thomas Hunt was arrested for running a meth lab in his home.
