MANCHESTER, GA (WTVM) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says 25-year-old Deontoni Brown turned himself into authorities Thursday afternoon but charges against him have been dropped.
GBI spokesman John Bankhead says after Brown turned himself in, he was turned over Friday to the Talbot County sheriff on an outstanding escape warrant and was later released.
The other man sought, 21-year-old Darius Harris was taken into custody by the Manchester Police Department Friday morning.
We're told he had a gunshot wound to the shoulder -- a wound agents say originated from the shootout with the GBI Wednesday night.
He was treated at hospital, then sent to Meriwether County Jail. He was charged with two counts aggravated assault and one count of armed robbery.
Around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at a home located at 913 Ira Parkway in Manchester, GA. Investigators say two GBI agents were conducting a drug investigation. When agents raided the home, several men, some wearing ski masks and carrying guns, approached them.
