Men electrically shocked on the job

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - About three men were injured after they were electrically shocked while on the clock, Wednesday evening.

Just before 5:00, the crew was digging a hole on Mutec Drive when they struck a line that shocked them.  The men were taken to the hospital to be treated for burns and were later released.

Around the same time, traffic lights on Woodruff Farm Road and Macon Road stopped working.  But it's unknown if it is connected to the accident involving the work crew.
