If your child is out of daycare and you're looking for something fun for them to do, Columbus State University's Activ8 camp started Monday.

Campers can choose from more than 100 different courses, in nine different categories, to enjoy all summer long. Children from ages four to 17 can sign up for anything from sewing and arts and crafts to computer skills and sports.

Activ8's director, Maggie Sellers says with the laid back approach, campers hardly know they're learning, "Throughout the school year the children have a lot of directed study and gives them the opportunity to pick and choose what they want to learn and what they want to be exposed to. So far they've had a lot of fun. I've seen a lot of wonderful artwork and creativity bubbling forth and a lot of learning too."
