Georgia Supreme Court to Hear vs. City of Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)--The Georgia Supreme Court will hear arguments in an appeal involving whether a city government may impose hotel occupancy taxes on the amount that on-line travel companies charge customers to book hotel rooms.

The City of Columbus sued over those taxes, and hope they will be able to recoup that money.

This is the second time the city has been involved in a case like this--Columbus has also sued Expedia in the past.

News Leader Nine will be in Atlanta for the court's decision. Stay with for the latest.
