Goodwill Donations Are Down

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) --Goodwill Industries says stores are seeing a spike in sales, but donations are down.

Store officials say if donations continue to plummet, it could affect not only shoppers looking for a deal, but services they offer.  They are asking people to clean out their closets and make a donation.  "It's relatively remaining flat.  Some months it's down and some months it's up.  It's a concern for us because we depend on donations." said Spokersperson Kari Finley.
