COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Here are the stories you can expect to see in our 5 and 6 o'clock newscasts:

The city of Columbus applied for federal stimulus funds to offset the cost of buying the property and facility that will house Ohio-based NCR, a company that manufactures automated teller machines. At the top of the 5PM newscast, find out how the mayor says the city will fund the facility if the request for stimulus funds is denied.

Chattahoochee Valley Community College lost its accreditation for its associate's degree nursing program. Reporter Lindsey Connell sat down with the college president. Find out what type of recourse the program has at 5PM.

U.S. Army Reservist Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook had a federal court hearing today. He believes he shouldn't have to deploy to Afghanistan because Barack Obama was never eligible to be president. Reporter Laurie Bernstein spoke to the soldier and his attorney about his dismissed lawsuit. News Leader 9 has details at 6PM.
