RUSSELL COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -  Convicted sex offender Guy Baker appeared in Russell County court Wednesday.

Police have pinned several charges on the 46-year-old, all stemming from the kidnapping, rape and sexual torture of his girlfriend back in May.

Some very graphic details emerged in court regarding the ways in which the victim was raped and tortured over the course of the two-and-a-half weeks she said she was held against her will in Baker's bedroom.

She says Baker would not allow her to go anywhere without his permission. The victim claims she was scared to run away because Baker had made threats towards her and her family.

She managed to get away and get help while Baker hid from authorities in the woods for several days before his arrest.

Baker's lawyer asked for his $240,000 bond to be reduced. That was denied.

His case has been bound over to a Russell County grand jury.

Officials say the jury should look at it sometime in the fall.
