COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Health Department wants people living near Whitesville Road to be on the lookout for rabid animals.

On July 13, a fox found in the area of Mellwood Avenue tested positive for rabies.

If your pet has started behaving strangely, or you've seen animals acting aggressively, you're asked to call animal control or the Columbus Health Department.
