Muscogee County holds Verification Day

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Muscogee County students are heading back to school this week, but first they have to get registered for classes. Sunday, Arnold Middle School held its "Verification Day" for students starting and returning to school this year.

Between 2:30 and 4:30 parents and students stopped by the school to sign up and they got the chance to meet their teachers and take a brief tour of Arnold middle.

Arnold Middle School Principal, Lura Reed told News Leader Nine, "It's important because it lets us know who's coming to school on Thursday and Sunday afternoon is a good time because it's convenient for parents and it gives us a head start."
