F.A.S.T. program welcomes Fox Elementary families

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The F.A.S.T. (Families and Schools Together) Program, a Family Center of Columbus initiative, is partnering with Fox Elementary School to help increase parental involvement in education. 

The event will kick-off Monday, August 3, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., at Fox Elementary School, located at 600 38th Street in Columbus. 

The Stilts Team from the Springer Acting Academy, the Columbus Lions football players and cheerleaders, the Columbus Fire Department (with the big red truck), DARE Officers, and Foxie 105 will welcome families as they come to register their children.

  Though most activities will take place between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m., school registration will continue until 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
