Woman pleads guilty to bank fraud

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A former CB&T executive admits to committing bank fraud.

Gail Baker Page entered a plea of guilty Wednesday morning in Federal Court.

The former vice president is accused of creating false and misleading documents to steal $159,000 from CB&T and South Trust Bank.

The fraud is believed to have happened in 2004 and 2005.

Her sentencing date has not been set.  If convicted, Page faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million dollar fine.
