COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  An armed robbery in midtown Columbus has left a Domino's delivery man without his cell phone, money and a couple of pies.

Brandon Carver was sent to deliver two pizzas to on Gould Street in Columbus around midnight Saturday when he was approached by a man with a gun.

Carver tells police he didn't see the suspect when he walked up to the residence. It wasn't until he reached the front steps that he saw the man come out from behind a chain link fence.

When the gun was pointed on him, Carver says the suspect told him to "give it up" and he handed over his phone, cash and two pizzas.

Later, an off-duty Muscogee County Sheriff's Deputy found and returned Carver's cell phone.

Carver describes the suspect as a black male, 17-20 years old, 6'0, wearing all black clothing with a black shirt over his face, medium build, and holding a silver handgun.
