Crime Stoppers: Circle K armed robbery

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus Crime Stoppers is asking the public's help for clues to solve a recent armed robbery.

Columbus Police say on August 10th around 6:00 a.m., a masked man,  armed with a semi-automatic pistol, entered the Circle K at 3701 Buena Vista Road demanding money.

We're told he forced the clerk  to go into the store office and took an unknown amount of cash -- then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6'0 in height and weighing about 200 pounds. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a big black puffy jacket, blue jeans with white patches, a black baseball cap and what appeared to be a letter "C" on the bill of the cap.  He may have had a full beard or mustache.
