COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus council members are holding off on their vote for a discount prescription drug card program.

The city had been gearing up to participate in the National League of Cities CVS/Caremark program but council members decided to look at the program for a few more weeks.

The issue will be brought back up again at the October 13th council meeting.

In the meantime, Muscogee County residents with questions about the program are encouraged to contact the city manager's office.
