COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - California Attorney Orly Taitz spoke to the News Leader on the phone Thursday concerning Judge Land's comment that Captain Connie Rhodes' case is quote, "frivolous".

Taitz says, "I think the only frivolous here is the action of Judge Land. I have done nothing frivolous; the important issue in this country is the legitimacy of the president and commander-in-chief.

US District Court Judge Clay Land dismissed Rhodes' case, denied the temporary filing order and requested that she pay the defendants' court costs.  He also added that any future actions filed by Taitz in his court would be subjected to sanctions.

Rhodes claims she doesn't feel safe deploying overseas because President Barack Obama is not legally the commander-in-chief.

"Sooner or later we have to prevail.  You can hide things for only so long. Sooner or later Mr. Obama will be compelled to show vital records, says Taitz.
