Preparing For H1N1

The state of Georgia is getting ready for the swine flu.

September is National Preparedness month...appropriate as Georgia and other states prepare themselves for more cases of H-1-N-1. vaccinations are expected to come in next month.

Columbus Emergency Management Director Riley Land says, the city developed a pandemic flu plan last year and so should you.

Land says "Get that family ready. Talk about it with the family. Plan with the family. Have the kids aware, so the kids are prepared and not scared."

There's even a statewide campaign called "Ready Georgia," motivating Georgians to take action and prepare for any kids on a disaster.
