COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Police say they've put an end to a burglary ring- one officers say spanned the entire city and targeted dozens of homes.

18-year-old Sidney Breedlove, 18-year-old Daryll McCall, and 17-year-old Jacori Major, along with a juvenile, all face charges in connection with 24 home burglaries and two car thefts.

Police say not all of the men were involved in all of the crimes, but they do all know each other and allegedly worked together at different times.

"It's a lose-knit group. These individuals were all over the city- no targeted area, just from the north end, downtown, east end, south end, all over the city. That's why it's really important for people in the neighborhoods- if you see something that looks strange or doesn't belong- call the police," said Lieutenant Gil Slouchick.

Officials say the thefts happened during June, July and August.

They also tells us the teens used different ways to get into the houses- from kicking in doors, to breaking windows and finding unlocked doors.

Not all of the suspects are being charged with all 24 burglaries and the two car thefts.

Police have pinned a certain number of crimes on each person and charged them accordingly.
