COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  A homeless man several faces charges after a bizarre burglary-gone-wrong at a Columbus pizza joint.

Police say 31-year-old Jonathon Davis broke into the Pizza Pronto on 2nd Avenue by smashing the glass front door early Saturday morning.

When officers and the owner were looking over surveillance footage, they heard a woman screaming for police behind the restaurant.

There they found Davis lying on the ground, asleep.

Things that were stolen from the restaurant were reportedly found out back as well.

Davis was arrested and charged with burglary, loitering and prowling.

According to police, $6000 worth of damage was done to the business.
