RECALL: Archer Farms Potato Salad

Columbus, Ga. (WTVM) --

Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin is alerting Georgians to the recall of some containers of Archer Farms Potato Salad sold at Target because they may contain unlisted milk ingredients.

Garden Fresh Foods of Milwaukee, Wis., is recalling the 16-ounce containers of potato salad with a 10/04/2009 expiration date that were distributed nationwide at SuperTarget retail stores.  The square plastic containers are marked with UPC number 0 85239 40228 3 and an expiration of 10/04/2009.

Garden Fresh Foods is urging consumers who have purchased the recalled potato salad to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

People who are allergic to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.  No illness in connection with this problem has been reported.
