COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus Police are still looking for a suspect they say robbed two men at gunpoint on the north side of the city.

According to investigators, it happened around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the Shell gas station on Williams Road.

They say a black male in his early 20s, thin build, wearing a blue do-rag, white T-shirt and jean shorts asked for a ride from two 24-year-old men.

He got in the car and when they got to the Twin Chapel subdivision on Whitesville Road, police say he pulled out a gun and robbed both of the men. He ran off with about $200 cash and the victims' cell phones.

The Metro Narcotics helicopter happened to be in the area and was searching for the suspect, however, authorities were unable to locate him.

No injuries were reported.
