COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus Police are on the lookout for two men wanted in a drive by shooting.  Shots rang out Sunday morning just before noon at two homes, 1060 and 1054 Ada Street off Wynnton Road.  When officers arrived, they found bullet holes in both of the residences.

Ann McBride says she wasn't home at the time of the shooting, but is thankful her four year old nephew, Isaiah, missed the bullets by minutes.  "He had just been told to come inside, moments later shots were fired hitting the front door," says McBride. Isaiah's mom, Jelisa Fitzpatrick, was home with her son. She says she's thankful her son is alive.

Residents like McBride feel that there quiet neighborhood is turning into an unsafe crime infested area. "My front door has been kicked in. The alarm ran them off.  You hear gunshots and the older people are afraid to walk outside alone," added McBride.

Captain Gordon Griswould says police are looking for two black males driving a blue Tahoe with tinted windows. Police also say they don't believe the shooting is random.
