COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Crime Stoppers is asking for tips in solving armed robberies at two Columbus pharmacies.

Police say on Sunday, the Rite Aid on Double Churches Road was robbed by arm three armed suspects. We’re told it was robbed earlier this year on January 17.

Another Rite Aid, located at 3472 Macon Road, was robbed in October.

Investigators say when the suspects entered the businesses, the gunmen would ask for the manager and force them into the office where the manager is told to open the safe.

Each time the suspects fled with the money.

The suspects in these robberies have been linked to multiple armed robberies in and around the metro Atlanta area.

Witnesses describe suspects as black men, armed with handguns, wearing dark clothes and masks over their faces.

If you have any information on these crimes, please contact the Columbus Police Department, Crime Stoppers at 706-653-3188, or the Robbery and Assault Unit at 706-653-3400. If your information leads to an arrest and indictment, you could receive a reward of up to $1000.00 and you do not have to give your name.
