Dog that attacked girl still on the loose

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Health Department, is looking for a dusty black color pit bull that seriously attacked a little girl on Celia Drive.

The dog is also short in height and has a broad chest.

If you see a dog matching this description, please call Columbus Animal Control at (706) 653-4512 or call 911 after hours.

Officials want to locate the dog to test it for rabies.

Georgia state law requires all dogs and cats to be under observation for ten days following a bite.
