COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) –  If you've shopped at Toy"R"Us recently, you may want to check your credit card statement.

A glitch in the store's computer system may have double charge credit card customers.

We've received a complaint to our newsroom from a local Toys"R"Us customer who was double-charged on Black Friday.

After a little probing, it turns out the error was due to a glitch in the toy store's system.

Officials say a technical systems issue occurred at some of their stores early Friday, but the problem was quickly corrected.

A spokesperson says the company reversed all the double charges and customers should have seen this reflected on their credit card statements by Tuesday.

If you used a debit card, make sure the transaction has cleared the bank.

If you need assistance, call Toy"R"Us guest services at 1-800-869-7787 or call or 1-800-Toys-r-us.

No word how many stores were affected.
