City to begin work on Teak Dr. water shed

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The city of Columbus says it will begin work on the Charter Oaks watershed off Teak Drive this week.

Workers will dredge the lake and replace the trash outlet.

The project is expected to take 4 to 6 weeks and cost about $200,000.

    Auburn police arrested a man on several warrants. On Friday, July 13 28-year-old Stephen Blalock from Auburn was arrested on felony and misdemeanor warrants.
