Valley Rescue Mission in need of toys

COLUMBUS, GAEach year Valley Rescue Mission signs up hundreds of families who receive food and toy assistance during the holidays.

On average Valley Rescue gives away 2 –3 brand new toys to over 1,000 children.   This year it is scheduled to serve 1,306 children for Christmas.

This year's giveaway started on Monday, December 7th and it is still in need of toys.

Valley Rescue says it is lacking  toys for all age groups with a specific deficit in gifts and toys for girls ages 8-11 and toys for infants through 3 years old.

Unwrapped toys can be donated to Valley Rescue Mission, 2903 Second Avenue, Columbus, Georgia 31904.
