COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus woman is facing charges after police say she crashed her neighbor's party with a knife.

Twenty-eight-year-old LaToya Davis has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly attacking another woman with the weapon.

The victim, 23-year-old Natasha Clark, tells officers she was having a party at her apartment on Cusseta Road when Davis came through the front door in a rage.

Police reports indicate the women live next to each other.

Witnesses say Davis had a knife in her hand and when Clark asked her to leave, there was a struggle between the two.

During the fight, the victim's left hand was cut and the suspect broke her ankle.

Both women were treated for their injuries.
