Burglars take pricey items from Columbus businesses

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are investigating burglaries at two businesses where items worth thousands were stolen.

Police report on Friday, someone stole $14,000 worth of firearms from Range Control on Wynnton Road.

An the owner of Jordan Mill told police, thousands of dollars worth of equipment was taken from the landmark on Friday morning.

It's believed the suspect or suspects came in through the front door and exited through the back door.

At least $20,000 worth of concert equipment and electronics were taken.
